How to build a independent Low Cost LED positioning device for Bicycle Trailers

We, Georg B. and Roland R. wanted to construct a self-powered LED light set without batteries for bicycle trailers as these have to be independently operated in Austria (no electricity line is allowed from bike to trailer.

A normal 5V 5W Dynamo is installed  on the trailor which is then connected to an electric circuit that converts the AC from the dynamo to DC and reduces it to exactly 5V to power a bunch of LEDs with it.

	The first - Hardware-in-the-Loop test was compleded sucessfully in January 2012
update	Full bunch of LED is bought and we are on the search for more components.
